’nuff said.
Sunday the 17th, Holly Street Park, it was warm and sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky. 37 racers cast dice to determine which way they’d start, and from there they made their way to 6 out of 12 possible locations to journey through, all stops being true to the nature of CYOA novels.

End Standings:
All said and done, we raised $675 and change between CYOR and The Safety Dance for Richmond Bike Polo.
Thanks to everyone for coming out!

What better way to kick off the end of Bike Week than with a Dance Party at Cellar Door?

Many thanks to all the DJs who performed: Shmohawxx, Support HOZ, Futch Cassidy, and Phil. (ROTA, pictured above)

Jedi Mike spearheading the raffle, props to the guy who won the Velocity Rim hula-hoop contest.

Congratulations and thank you to all who joined us! Ride with lights!
The Saddle Sores had a blast at the Cutthroat’s ‘Not-a-Rama’ scavenger hunt. Mike, Gene, Malcolm, Alan, Kieffer, and Becca all were able to compete this time around. We were also fortunate enough to have Sarah from Seagull Bags (Columbus, Ohio) and Matt Siegel (a local hero) on our team. We spent the greater part of the day racing around the city and looking for items on the manifest. We ended up taking second place thanks to Joelle’s lightning-fast hands. (1st went to our friends in ROTA – Congrats, guys!) and a big thank you to Cutthroats Bicycle Club always holding it down in Richmond! Here are some pics:

Saddle Sores Bicycle Club is hosting a chill ride from the VCU Compass tonight at 10pm.
Be there! All inclusive!
Don’t forget your front headlight (for night riding)!
